Students completing this Online First Aid Standard course will gain the skills and knowledge required to recognise and respond to emergencies and treat casualties in a range of situations.
This course is recommended for anyone wanting to complete a First Aid course.
This course requires pre-learning to be completed before attending a live virtual assessment class.
Upon successful completion of this course you will gain the following units:
HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
HLTAID010 Basic Emergency Life Support
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

Self paced online pre-learning: Approximately 1 - 3 hours
Live Virtual Assessment Class: Approximately 4 Hours
This course takes approximately 7 hours to complete
This course requires online pre-learning to be completed.
All pre-learning must be completed at least 24 hours before attending your scheduled live virtual assessment class.
Students who do not complete their online pre-learning will not be admitted into their live virtual assessment class.
All Live Virtual classrooms are held via Microsoft Teams.
All Virtual Classes are scheduled in AEST Melbourne Time. Please check your states time zones to ensure you arrive to your class on time.
Late arrivals will not be accepted after 5 minutes of class starting.
There are no formal prerequisite units required for entry into this course. Learners will require English language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills.
Students are required to the have the physical ability to complete 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor on a adult manikin.
Assessments will be completed via a combination of knowledge questions, practical tasks and simulated scenarios.
You will be required to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on an Adult CPR Manikin on the floor.
Webcams must be positioned so your trainer can see at all times.
This course requires the use of a Training Kit to complete the Live Virtual Assessment Class.
Once payment has been received a Training Kit will be posted out to you via Australia Post. Please ensure you have left enough time for delivery of your kit before your scheduled virtual assessment class.
Training Kits are sent via Australia Post from Melbourne, Victoria.
Training Kits are to be returned to us using the provided return satchel and dropped off at your local Australia Post outlet within 2 business days of your completed virtual assessment class.
* Late returns will incur in a $200.00 late fee.
Upon successful completion of this course and return of the Training Kit students will be issued with a Nationally Accredited Statement of Attainment issued by our partner RTO ABC First Aid.
Statement of Attainments are issued Monday to Friday during Business Hours.
*They are not issued on weekends or QLD Public Holidays.
Once a training Kit has been dispatched no refund will be issued.
All cancellations made 24 hours or more before a scheduled Virtual Assessment Class and before a training kit has been dispatched will receive a partial refund of course fees minus a $25.00 Administration Fee.

Statement of Attainment is valid for 3 years.
*Please note that the CPR component of the training is valid for 12 months and should be updated annually.
Book & Pay for your Online First Aid course.
Complete all required online pre-learning at your own pace from the comfort of your own home or workplace via the Training Hub before your scheduled Live Virtual Assessment Class. Pre-learning is to be completed at least 24 hours before the live virtual assessment class.
A Training Kit is sent to your home or workplace for you to use in your Live Virtual Assessment Class via Australia Post.
We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure the Training Kit arrives in time for your Live Virtual Assessment Class.
*Training Kits are only posted once payment has been received.
Attend your Live Virtual Assessment Class via Microsoft Teams led by one of our friendly and experienced trainers and complete all required practical assessments in front of your webcam.
*Your webcam must be positioned for your trainer to see you at all times.
Pack up the Training Kit and place it into the provided paid return satchel.
Take the satchel to your local Australia Post outlet for return delivery to us within 2 business days of your completed Live Virtual Assessment Class.
*Late returns will incur a $200.00 Late Fee.
Upon successful completion of your First Aid course and return of the Training Kit you will be issued with a Nationally Recognized
Statement of Attainment by our partner RTO ABC First Aid.
