Online Childcare First Aid Express Course
All classes are scheduled in AEST Melbourne Time
Students completing this course will gain the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.
This unit applies to all persons who may be
required to provide a first aid response to a child or infant
in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
Upon completion of this course, the following unit(s) will be issued:
HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID010 – Provide basic emergency life support
HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting

Self-paced online pre-learning: 1 - 2 hours
Live Virtual Assessment Class: 60 minutes
This course takes approximately 2 - 4 Hours to complete.
You will need to source one other person to act as your mock casualty during your Virtual Assessment Class.
You will need a computer/laptop, webcam, internet, microphone, speakers, training kit, photo id, email address, USI number.
You will be required to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on an adult manikin on the floor. Your webcam needs to be able to be positioned so that your trainer can see you and the manikin on the floor.
We suggest that if you do not have access to a computer or the internet you contact your local library or community center for assistance.
A Training Kit is required to complete Childcare First Aid Online Virtual Assessment Classes.
Once payment has been made a Training Kit will be sent to you. Please ensure you have left enough time for the training kit to be delivered to your door before your booked virtual assessment class.
To return the Training Kit to us, simply pack it into the provided postage paid return satchel and drop it off to your local Australia Post outlet within 1 day of your completed Live Virtual Assessment Class.
Late returns will in be issued with a $200.00 Late Fee.
Upon successful course completion and return of the training kit you will issued with a Nationally Recognized Statement of Attainment.
Refunds will not be issued once Training Kits have been dispatched.

Complete the required Childcare First Aid Online pre-learning at your own pace from the comfort of your own home or workplace before your scheduled Virtual Assessment Class.
A Training Kit is sent to your home or workplace for you to use in your Virtual Assessment class once payment has been received.
Attend your Childcare First Aid Online Live Virtual Assessment Class via Microsoft Teams led by one of our friendly and experienced trainers and complete all required practical assessments in front of your webcam.
Pack up the Training Kit and place it into the provided return satchel.
Take it to your local Australia Post outlet for return delivery to us within 2 business days of your completed Live Virtual Assessment Class.
Upon successful completion of your online course and return of the Training Kit you will be issued with a Nationally Recognized
Statement of Attainment by our partner RTO ABC First Aid.
